Awards: 7:00 PM Historic downtown Charlottetown will come to life as the cyclists race at top speeds around a one-kilometre circuit in the city centre. The action will start on Grafton Street, in front of Province House, with the peloton looping east and then south on Prince Street, west along Sydney Street, and north on Queen Street, past the evening patio-dwellers on Victoria Row, in a criterium totalling 49.25 kilometres. Join the ten thousand locals and visitors who come to watch this thrilling, high-speed event!
A celebrity race will be held between 3:45-4:00 PM along the same route, followed by a Juniors race between 4:00-4:30 PM. After Tour de PEI’s final awards ceremony at 7 PM, the street will come alive with music by the Island’s own Rawlins Cross at a rain-or-shine, free public concert held on the steps of the Confederation Centre of the Arts.
